The terms governing use of the Soft Computers website, services, and apps.

Welcome to Soft Computers. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Services
Soft Computers provides IT and technology services, including managed IT, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, data backup and recovery, web development, software development, and mobile app development. Specific service terms are detailed in individual service agreements provided to clients upon engagement.
2. Use of Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the website in any way that violates applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Interfere with or disrupt the website's operation
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce content without permission
3. Newsletter and Communications
By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails about our services, industry insights, and company updates. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email. We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing.
4. Blog and Content
Our blog contains original content as well as commentary on third-party news, which is attributed and remains the property of its owners. Our original content is protected by copyright.
5. Our Apps
FocusFlow and CueCam are our iOS apps, provided "as is" for personal use. By using them you agree to use them lawfully and not to reverse engineer or modify them. Where an app includes AI features, responses are informational and should not be treated as professional advice.
FocusFlow is free to download, with an optional Pro subscription. Purchases and subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and governed by Apple's terms; manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
CueCam is free to download, with an optional one-time Pro purchase. The purchase is billed through Apple's App Store and governed by Apple's terms.
Creastora is a web application with its own terms of service, available at creastora.com. Your use of Creastora, including accounts and billing, is governed by those terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Soft Computers or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You may not reproduce it without permission.
7. Client Deliverables
For custom development work, ownership of deliverables is specified in individual project agreements. Generally, clients receive full ownership of custom code and materials upon final payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soft Computers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use our services, errors or omissions in content, service interruptions, or actions of third parties. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Warranty Disclaimer
Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soft Computers and its officers, employees, and partners from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or your use of our services.
11. Third-Party Services
Our website and services integrate with third-party services including Vercel, Supabase, Google Analytics, Resend, and the Apple App Store. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
13. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to our services without prior notice for conduct that violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
