Soft Computers is a Toronto technology firm. Since 2020 we have kept business systems running for companies across the GTA and shipped software of our own, with one desk accountable for both.

Everything we do fits under one roof: running technology and building it. Clients come to us for one or both, and deal with the same people either way.

Managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, and data backup with tested recovery. Monitoring runs 24/7, patches land on a tested schedule, and reviews are written for the people who make decisions, not to impress other engineers.

FocusFlow and CueCam are our own iPhone apps; Creastora runs on the web. Designing, shipping, and operating our own software keeps the firm honest: release discipline, crash monitoring, and app review are things we practice before we promise them.

How we keep things running.

Most technology failures show a warning first: a backup that quietly stops, a disk trending toward failure, a sign-in from somewhere it should not be. We watch for those signals 24/7 and investigate them as they come in, so small problems get caught before they turn into outages.

The rest is discipline. How we work is written down and applied the same way every time, because reliability is a set of practices, not a personality trait.

One desk, accountable

Operations and development report to the same desk: one agreement, one ticket queue, and response targets agreed in writing, then tracked ticket by ticket.

Documentation before memory

Credentials vaulted, configurations recorded, runbooks written. Support follows the documentation, so nothing depends on any one person’s memory, ours or yours.

Recovery, rehearsed

Backups are restored on a schedule and timed, with results reported. Recovery time is a measured fact, not an assumption.

Close to the businesses we serve.

The desk is in Toronto and the work stays close to it: Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Brampton, and the rest of the Greater Toronto Area, with remote support across Canada.

Proximity is practical. The people who answer your tickets are the same people who can be at your office when hardware needs hands on it.
